Jessie and her mother live in a small house on a country road . Jessie's marriage ended in divorce. Her son is a petty thief, she can't keep a job, she has epilepsy and her life is stale. One night Jessie and her mother get into a heated debate about life and living. The push and pull of their debate-sometimes quiet, sometimes tempestuous ultimately exposes many of the deepest and darkest questions we tend to ask ourselves about our own lives.
